On the Road to München

Long ride on the bus to Munich today.  A few rest stops and some long naps made it ok.  Great rest stops on the autobahn - and they serve beer.

This is Anna, our great Munich guide.

Anna showed us around Munich and ended up the tour in the Marienplatz where the Rathaus-Glockenspiel strikes on the hour and we could watch the mechanical figures re-enact historical scenes including a joust.  I think Dave had some money on the loser.

Back to the beer garden where a couple of München fraus show us everything you need to know about Munich.

We visited the original Hofbrauhaus which is the #1 beer garden in Munich.  There is a nice banquet room upstairs where people have parties and wedding receptions. Hitler started a party in this room - the Nazi Party.
