Off on a new adventure

Off on a new adventure.  Flew SAS into Copenhagen from Chicago.  After a decent bid on 'Economy Plus' seats we won the bid.  This included access to the SAS lounge at O'Hare with free food and booze.  Nice place.
Seats were nice also. 38" of space and a decent recline.  Food was not so good.  Since we were overweight on baggage (not us) we had to move some things around and checked one bag.  First time in many years.

Mom cleaning out the Swedish meatball pot.

After a quick flight to Copenhagen - well, 8 hrs - we had to hustle to catch our next flight on the other side of the airport.  This ride was a twin engine turboprop to Luxembourg City about 1:45 hrs away.  We landed in Lux around 5pm and hopped on Bus 16 for a 20 minute ride to the hotel.  Lots of construction going on everywhere.
Hotel Vauban is located on a famous square in the old part of town.  The whole square was full of food shops, restaurants and beer joints set up just for Pentecost week which is apparently a big deal here.

Our hotel is above an Italian restaurant where we had a pleasant dinner.
Time for bed.
