A Day of Rest in Trier

Today was a rest day.  Went for a long walk to the electronics store to pick up a couple of cables.  Mom stayed home to watch the fort.

Dinner at Ristorante Frankenturm was a pizza German style. Just as good as Italy.  

After dinner we walked to the Porta Negra (Black Gate) built by the Romans during the reign of Constantine.  Trier was originally a Roman city.  Sadly, the Porta Negra is about all that's left of the Romans - unless you count the pizza.
