Spa Town

Baden-Baden is known all over Europe as a spa resort.  Lots of drug stores and health stores along with many expensive shops for the rich clientele.  BB has been a spa resort town for over a hundred years.  It is also famous for the casino.

The casino is very elegant in an 1800 style.  It is not very big compared to a modern US casino but it is kind of cool.

Naked at the Spa

The spa at Baden Baden is what our guide called 'no textile'.  Germans do not consider nudity the same as Americans do so it was a bit of a sell to get some of the group to go to the spa.  Donna and I did not partake.  I can't go into hot water and Donna stayed home in sympathy.

The spa is supposed to be segregated every day except Tuesday so today should have been a good day for shy folks.  When the gang arrived however, they found out that the rules were changed to both genders every day.  Our guide was concerned and suggested that the women go in about 15 mins early to reduce the uncomfortable bus ride tomorrow.  I don't know what transpired but only a few chickened out.

We'll have to see who is blushing tomorrow.
